About the Owner

iCore Consultants is the brain-child of one man – Marshall Merritt. Born and raised on the coast of South Carolina, Marshall has only one passion that surpasses his obsession with Clemson football: Information Technology.

His specific interest is Apple technology, but that doesn’t stop him from staying well-versed in all aspects of IT. He is currently 10.6 ACTC (Apple Certified Technical Coordinator) certified with Mac OS X Security & Mobility 10.6 along with Mobile Technical Competency (MTC) by Apple with a goal of becoming the first 10.6 ACSA (Apple Certified Systems Administrator) certified consultant in the state of South Carolina. In addition, he has ensured that every member of the iCore Consultants team is fully certified and that they share his passion for Apple products.

Marshall’s vision for iCore Consultants is to continue to specialize in all things Mac and to bring the secure and mobile Mac platform to businesses throughout North & South Carolina.

Marshall lives in South Carolina with his wife and two small children. While he is proud to be considered a “local boy” on this Southern coast, he’s never met a stranger and truly enjoys working in the Carolinas. If he isn’t reading from one of his many iDevices, you’ll find him in friendly conversation with anyone he meets — even Gamecock fans.
